I think I've told you before, I'd put Mikoto on Cats and have him give out ridiculous quests all related to his own personal well-being, starting out with "Don't wake me up. / SLEEPS IN INCONVENIENTLY PUBLIC PLACES FOR THE NEXT WEEK" and "Quit asking for things for three days", going all the way to "Get me cigarettes." and "Turkey bourbon, double.", at which point people would have to remind him that teams aren't his freelance bartending service.

WELL I. ORIGINALLY SHOVED HIM ONTO BARGHEST because Barghest used to have really terrible yan and drama problems and Yuu just doesn't drama. at all. ever. He's a very zero drama type of character! He's a dumbass. BUT HE ALSO shounens really fucking hard and would put himself and his whole goddamn team at risk of complications if it came between BEING AT RISK and SAVING A LIFE.
But mmost of current Barghest is very self-preserving, aside from him. SO I REALLY WANT HIM to have to come to terms with it's not all about his ideals, I want him to fuck up! Like he--already did fuck up once during a Nyssa game ( and got boiled to death by tea exploding out of him ) but the only one that really effected was himself. SO IT DOESN'T REALLY COUNT. Fucking up during a bad game and learning that he can't have his way because it'll hurt his team would pprobbaly teach him better. Temporarily, at least. Maybe. It depends.
I REALLY WANT HIM TO BEFRIEND AT LEAST ONE PERSON ON EVERY TEAM. This is my current goal cr-wise. /o
Basically you just want drama to be involved in there somewhere.
AND I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'D SORT KAZU YET, I'm not familiar enough with the teams! Epona is the grimly dumbhearted team, Vanara is the cannibal team, Alectryon is the slow-burning yandere team, Barghest is the survivor team. . . ??? KAZU WOULD BE FUCKING TERRIBLE ON ANY OF THOSE, he'd shounen hard if the games got super traumatic and then burn out and become a shadow early on.
....yeah okay maybe a little. BUT I WANT YUU TO LEARN SHIT HAPPENS. SHOUNENING DOESN'T ALWAYS WORK. And he doesn't really know how to compromise so that's definitely a lesson he needs to learn.

Uhhh, basically I want to have him attach to anybody who isn't Lacie! This is probably like a year-long goal in itself 'cos it takes a v. particular lifestyle / set of pings for Jack to care about someone in a way he'd parse as 'real', and frankly once that happens there are way too many ways it could go wrong for the other person, so I'd need to find people willing to play with that. \o/ But he has neither his canon drive to reject the world nor the memories to bring out his fixation yet! In the short term it's probably more accurate to say: climb some shit. Poke people in their tsundere bits. Get his hooker memories back and laugh and laugh.
